MCMT has been established as an Industry Led engineering technology training facility, with a vision of “Inspiring Engineers for a Changing World”.


MCMT is engaged with a European Social Fund program of Skills for Growth (Priority 2.2), with a delivery profile from 01Jan19 to 31Dec21. We are currently undergoing an appraisal with DWP to extend the project from 1st January 2021 until 31st December 2022


This role relates to the extension of the project and will start 1st January 2021. The contract will only be awarded if approval has been given via DWP to extend the project.



The outcomes of the program are to deliver 100 SME business support activities in Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin to engage businesses in growing skills, and 75 SME’s in same region to progress further skills training and/or apprenticeships.

This role is for: An IT Trainer who would be to provide skills to SME’s across Shropshire and Telford in:

Basic Word

Intermediate Word

Basic Excel

Intermediate Excel


Online digital accounting


Taster courses will be approx. 6 hours long covering the above courses and the benefits to an SME


The role will give SME’s skills to enable Business growth.


You would be required to hold 1 session per month over the course of the 24 months. This will be based on SME demand, dates will be pre booked 12 months in advance but will only go ahead if 2 or more have booked.


Tenders are required to state day rates, inclusive of salary costs only. Please quote per session.
