Get Active with MCMT
With all of us coming to terms with a life that none of us are used to, it is vital that we look after our mental health and one of the best ways of doing this is to use the additional time to get active.
Step forward Paul Hodgetts, our Business Development Advisor and former professional Tennis coach, Whilst he may not be at the same level as Nadal, Federer or Djokovic, he is widely regarded as one of the leading veteran players at Wolverhampton Lawn Tennis & Squash Club and has come up with a series of short videos to help learners and their families use ‘tennis’ to keep fit.
These range from basic drills on how to use a racket and ball to navigating assault courses and juggling the ball whilst on the floor.
Paul said: “We are in a very difficult time and it can take its toll on our mental health if we’re not careful. That’s why I thought I’d put some of the drills I’ve learned during my tennis career to good use to encourage you to get active and have a bit of fun in the process.”
