MCMT has been established as an Industry Led engineering technology training facility, with a vision of “Inspiring Engineers for a Changing World”.
MCMT is engaged with a European Social Fund program of Skills for Growth (Priority 2.2), with a delivery profile from 01Jan19 to 31Dec21. We are currently undergoing an appraisal with DWP to extend the project from 1st January 2021 until 31st December 2022
This role relates to the extension of the project and will start 1st January 2021. The contract will only be awarded if approval has been given via DWP to extend the project.
The outcomes of the program are to deliver 100 SME business support activities in Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin to engage businesses in growing skills, and 75 SME’s in same region to progress further skills training and/or apprenticeships.

Opportunity details

This role is for:
To provide a strategic view on the project accounts and direct the Operations board on figures.
To oversea the projects financial reporting structure and sign off claims as true and compliant.
To guide the claims and compliance manager on best way to report figures and reprofiling.
To delivery reports to shareholders and support the auditing in the project.
Form a separate reporting system for the ESF finances.
Tenders are required to state day rates, inclusive of salary costs only.
